not so inspiring thoughts (per minute)

just like the title says... sporadic thoughts in my head this past week.

  • Carolina Hurricanes. the 2006 Stanley Cup Champions. the first thing i said... "Who the heck are the Carolina Hurricanes?" last year, i said... "they have more typhoons, than hockey rinks in Tampa."
  • Dwayne Wade. is there anyone who can stop this guy?
  • Half Life 2. awesome game, great story. anti-climatic ending. especially after "investing" countless hours into it.
  • Threadless.com. i've bought a couple shirts already. can't wait 'til the next $10 sale.
  • Bought a USB phone to go with my current abuse of Skype. i heart technology.
  • I wonder how many YFC registered for this year's conference?
  • current music album ventures: "Chemical City" by Sam Roberts, "St. Elsewhere" by Gnarls Barkley, "How To Save A Life" by The Fray, "Stadium Arcadium" by The Red Hot Chili Peppers and "We Don't Need to Whisper" by Angels And Airwaves. all kick butt, in their own right.
  • What is real and authentic "Girl Power?"
  • Pixar movies are well thought out. Cars wasn't their best effort, yet it still got me a lil misty.
  • you really can't please everyone.
  • dang, it's summer!
  • i miss her.
  • Nacho Libre. for all you who have watched it... ooxxoxXXOOXx
  • and lastly, i think it's time for a redesign here.

focus

as i hear, it's very bad to skip meals. i guess i'm very bad. i have this uncanny ability to fight hunger, and forget to eat my regular intake.
i usually get totally wrapped up in what i'm doing at the moment, that hunger is easy to brush off. it could be work or it could be surfing the net (but most likely playing Raven Shield) but i totally dive into what i'm doing.

i'd like to think i'm a passionate person, and that's why i have this habit. and i must say... because of it... i really kick butt in Raven Shield ... errr.... life.

i knew it

i've blogged about video games before... but thanks to a good friend... i know it all paid off. so go tell your buddies to keep on truckin' and tell your mom and dad to read this article.

and tell mom and dad too.... "i told you so..."

time well wasted

i am a nintendo child. i was the first on my street, and in my school, to own the now legendary Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). NES introduced me to a brand new world of escapism and fantasy. i would never be the same again.

even til this day, i am an avid video game player. video games have played a huge part in my life. when times get tough... rent a game. when times get good... rent a game with your buddies. when times get boring... rent a game. next to my parents, sony, sega, and nintendo, have played a big part in grooming me to be the geek errr.... man that i am today.

people say that video games are just a waste of time. i say thee NAY! it is time well wasted.
