time travel
i've recently joined Facebook.
i honestly thought that it was just another online social network drone of a website. but i guess they're not so bad, when pretty much your entire high school is there.
after high school, i pretty much fell off the face of the planet. so it's been great to reconnect with old teammates, cafeteria buddies, class clowns and so on so forth.
Facebook is like a time travel machine gone haywire for me. it's mashing my past memories of friends and high school life, with modern times. everyone's all grown up, some are married, some have kids, some of a lil of both. my memories of these people are still pretty fresh somehow, and so to think of them with all these things happening in their lives is, for lack of a better phrase, "trippin' me out."
so, to those on facebook that i've recently connected with, who've written on my wall, or poked me, i apologize if it's taking some time to reply back, i've got about 9-10 years of catching up to do with everyone.
